Acres Of Space Inside…
There’s somewhere special for everyone inside Hallsannery House. With 3 reception rooms on the ground floor, not to mention a lofty entrance Hall with spiralling stairs, there’s plenty of space for living, entertaining and plain old fashioned fun.
Take a pew in one of the two squishy sitting rooms, or seek solitude in the Library filled with board games and books. Indulge in the Sunday papers in the gorgeous country-style Kitchen, or use the Dining Room as a backdrop for ever-so-elegant eating. There are 11 decadent en suite Bedrooms (sleeping up to 22 adults and 4-6 children), each with their own element of quirky and most with stunning views. Recently refurbished to provide steaming hot showers and sumptuous sleeps, the rooms can be adapted depending on the particular needs of your party.
Lots of kids? No problem! We can make them their very own bunk room, complete with keep-em-busy buckets of toys. Like to keep away from the hubbub? Chose a haven of peace at the back of the house, far away from the madding crowd. Stairs a problem? Grab the ground floor bedroom, easily accessible at the end of the day. Hallsannery House is set in around five acres of private parkland, with undulating fields and ancient oaks. With the tennis court boasting spectacular views over the Tarka Trail and River Torridge, with woodland walks, tree-top swings and natural balancing beams, the only problem is your guests – young and old – may not want to sit still.
If you do find time to linger, the terrace is the ideal spot – with either a cup of tea in hand, or something stronger – for drinking in the views, whilst the extensive lawns are perfect for a quiet game of croquet or boules or a snooze in the sun. Take yourself off for an evening stroll down the drive, or plonk yourself down with a book on a bench. Hallsannery has space to be both lost… and found.
From the moment you arrive, until you pack your party back in the car, Hallsannery House is yours to explore and enjoy… so take a deep breath of Devon air and make yourselves at home.
