Dye a rainbow of colours using a range of natural dyes; from wood, roots,

flowers and leaves. The day will cover preparation of the fibres for dyeing and equipment needed. Ready mordanted wool will be used to create a basic range of colours which will then be extended using advanced dyeing techniques.

Rosie will bring dye plants for sale and also whole fleeces suitable for

dyeing and felt-making: white and beautiful natural "sheep" shades from

silver through grey to nearly black.
