Holiday accommodation on a Georgian estate with 50 acres of gardens, parkland, woodland and pasture close to Bideford in North Devon.

Hallsannery Coach House flats :

Both properties are in the old coach house at the back of an early Victorian country house and are available to rent throughout the year. The whole Estate of 50 acres is located 1 mile from Bideford and has extensive views from the grounds over the River Torridge.
Bideford is an excellent centre for touring, the surfing and sandy beach of Westward Ho! is 3 miles away, as is the South West coastal path and there is an entrance to the Tarka Trail half a mile from Hallsannery which has 30 miles of cycling through countryside and estuary. Braunton
Burrows UNESCO Biosphere reserve is 15 miles away.  RHS Rosemoor is 6 miles and there as many other tourist attractions in the area. The boat to Lundy Island sails regularly from Bideford.
The properties have use of the parkland and woodland of the Estate, as well as the hard tennis court.

Coachman’s Cottage
The accommodation on the first floor has a double bedroom
and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, a separate bathroom with bath and shower, a kitchen dining room and a sitting room with woodburner.
The kitchen is well equipped. There is a washing machine in the nearby laundry room. The sitting room is very comfortable with TV, DVD player and mini hi-fi. Cot and high chair available on request.

Chauffeur’s Flat
The accommodation has 1 bedroom, a kitchen dining room with fridge, gas cooker, a bathroom with shower, and a sitting room with a sofa bed and TV. A washing machine is available to use in the nearby laundry room. Outside there is a small courtyard with table and chairs.

 Bed linen (not towels) is included, as well as gas and electricity.
Pets by prior arrangement only. Both properties are non-smoking.

In the low season both properties are available on a short term let of £70 per night for the Coachman’s Cottage and £50 per night for the Chauffeur’s Flat  (minimum stay 2 nights).
It may be possible to rent both properties as one unit with a 5% reduction in cost.
