Dates
The course lasts for six sessions held fortnightly commencing:

Venue
The course will be held in the Stewart room at Hallsannery – two miles south of Bideford on the Torrington road. There is easy parking immediately outside the door.

About Pamela
Pamela Hogan MA. CQSW
Dip.in Life Coaching
Pam brings a combination of
professional expertise and personal experience to her group-work. Her expertise
is derived from a career as a professional social worker, workshop facilitator
and life-coach for the chronically ill.
Many will know Pam primarily as an accredited tutor with the Expert Patient
Programme, a self-management course for anyone living with a long-term medical
condition.
Pam
also has fourteen years personal experience of post-viral fatigue and is now
ninety percent recovered.

If you are living with ME or CFS, a happy and fulfilling life can sometimes feel like a distant dream.
This six session course - held fortnightly over twelve weeks – offers you the opportunity to:
· meet others who understand exactly how you feel
· share your fears and frustrations
· explore positive options for improving your quality of life
· refocus on the essential ‘you’, the person who still has aims, ambitions, hopes and dreams.
This course is designed for you:
· each session lasts a maximum of 90 minutes and if you need to take time out that’s fine.
· you will be talking and sharing, not listening for long periods.
The next course, led by Pam Hogan, begins on February 8th at Hallsannery, Bideford and is FREE to members of ME North Devon.
Course Outline
Over the six sessions you will:
· explore the impact of ME/CFS on your life
· identify what drains your energy
· learn how to listen and respond to your body
· discover what may be getting in the way of progress
· look at pacing and personal plans
· develop your own personal support toolkit
Most of all, this course is about taking care of YOU.
