Welcome to Hallsannery

Hallsannery is a Georgian estate with 50 acres of gardens, parkland, woodland and pasture close to Bideford in North Devon.

The main house is used for weddings and civil ceremonies, small conferences and business meetings  and is also the venue for a wide range of events and  courses - see our 'what's on' page for more details..

There are 3 holiday cottages in the grounds of Hallsannery  with woodland walks, a shared tennis court and use of the main gardens.

We are committed to sustainability and reduction of our carbon footprint. We are active participants in and supporters of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
We offer non-residential field courses  on sand dunes, rocky shores and other habitats and systems for both A-level Biology and A-level Geography.

All the gardens at Hallsannery are managed with nature in mind and there are lots of wild areas and associated wildlife.
