The Morning Room
Nicknamed ‘the gentleman’s room’, the morning room exudes proportions and possibilities of days gone by. With plenty of seating to accommodate a gaggle of guests, views over the front lawn and estuary and a large smart TV, the morning room is ideal for watching your favourite sport or snuggling up in front of a film, setting up a board game or an impossible jigsaw or enjoying drinks and chat with family and friends. And if you can’t escape daily reality completely, the corner desk ‘with a view’ provides the perfect spot to quietly catch up on work or emails.
The Library
The ideal retreat for small (and not so small) kids! Boasting a large smart TV, buckets of toys, oodles of books and a pool table, there is plenty here to keep young – and not so young – entertained. With interconnecting doors to the drawing room, you can either open up for a larger entertaining space or keep them closed and a tad more cosy.
The Drawing Room
A dual aspect haven of beauty and peace, the opulent drawing room represents the best of days of old. Curl up on the Chesterfield sofas in front of a roaring fire or fling open the doors to the east lawn and let the warmth flood in, dust off your playing skills on the Bechstein piano or enjoy pre-dinner drinks in style before your dining room feast. For the ultimate in early morning decadence, sneak down before everyone else is awake and luxuriate in a book and a coffee to the sound of… silence.
The Hall
With its statement lanterns, polished wood floor, ornate cornicing and elegant pillars, the hall offers a stunning welcome to Hallsannery. Leading onto the three reception rooms and merging into the exquisite spiral staircase, the hall lends itself to pre-dinner drinks, after-dinner speeches and spectacular photos. Playing host to the light-bedecked 10 foot high Christmas tree throughout the festive season, it’s not hard to see why this beautiful space ranks high in the memories of returning guests.
